Laser Acne Treatment

Acne can be effectively treated with intense pulsed light (IPL) alone or in combination with other treatments. The light emitted from the IPL system targets over-active sebaceous glands, greatly reducing the number and severity of active lesions and lessening inflammation. The light stimulates the production of new collagen to improve skin texture. It can also reduce the appearance of red or brown areas of skin that are often associated with acne breakouts. A course of treatment is needed for long term results.
